So you finally made it!

Your website is fantastic and seeing your photos in Peru really proves that you haven't just checked into a B&B in Bournemouth for a year! I feel like you're in 'our team' now; ie people who do wild things that everyone tells them not to do and that feels really irresponsible (for a millisecond!).

Dan and Joe have been asking continually about how long it is before Joe and Finn arrive - they CAN'T WAIT and are really interested in what you are all doing. Dan even had the cheek to say why couldn't we do anything interesting with our lives and go away for a year! You can imagine the response he got...... mostly he just can't believe Joe is getting away without going to school for a YEAR! I did point out that you & Fee, will be a total slave driver and that your boys will probably end up doing more work than they would at SMB and without all the dossy things like PE and music!

How are the boys doing with the lack of routine and how are you explaining that you two don't really know what to expect from each place either?

Is it stressful never knowing what you are about to get to?
What about food in Peru?
Are you finding enough variety?
Lucy tells me that the fish and fruit are excellent (her father is a chef there, so she should know!)
